In the city of Klamath Falls, Oregon, a man by the name of Negasi Zuberi is facing serious allegations of planning sexual assaults against his victims. Law enforcement officials have presented an affidavit revealing the meticulous attack plans found in Zuberi’s home. This 29-year-old married father was apprehended in July after a woman managed to escape from his makeshift prison where she had been held against her will and subjected to sexual assault.

Revealing the Alarming Plans

During the investigation, authorities discovered disturbing notes at Zuberi’s residence that depicted his sinister intentions. One set of notes were labeled “Operation Take Over” and contained two bullet points: “Leave phone at home” and “Make sure they don’t have a bunch of people in their life. You don’t want any type of investigation.”

Another page featured a drawing with instructions to “Dig a hole straight down 100 ft” accompanied by references to items such as “concrete block,” “rubber coat,” “foam insulation,” and “waterproof concrete.”

The Crimes and Daring Escape

Zuberi allegedly traveled from Klamath Falls to Seattle just before his arrest, where he pretended to be a police officer and solicited services from a victim who worked as a sex worker. Restraining her with handcuffs and leg irons while pointing a Taser at her, Zuberi then drove her over 450 miles back to his residence in Oregon, where he reportedly raped her during the journey.

Within Zuberi’s garage, a cinder block cell was used to hold the victim captive. The cell had a door designed to prevent escape from the inside. However, the victim managed to break free from the cell, causing severe injuries to her hands in the process. After finding a handgun in Zuberi’s vehicle, she used it to flee and eventually flagged down a passing driver who contacted emergency services.

Zuberi was swiftly apprehended by law enforcement, but not without resistance and self-inflicted injuries during the encounter. Thankfully, the child present in his vehicle was unharmed.

Extensive Investigation and Possibility of Additional Victims

The FBI is currently investigating Zuberi’s activities in other states, suspecting that he may have been involved in additional attacks. Authorities are urging potential victims who may have encountered Zuberi in states such as California, Washington, Colorado, Utah, Florida, New York, New Jersey, Alabama, and Nevada to come forward with any information.

Zuberi is now facing charges of kidnapping and transportation with intent to engage in sexual activity. This disturbing case has raised concerns among authorities and communities about the safety of potential victims, emphasizing the importance of thorough and prompt investigations in cases of sexual violence.
