Hunter Biden’s 2018 Text Sparks GOP Controversy: Claims of Supporting Father’s Expenses for Over a Decade Emerge
A new revelation has added fuel to the ongoing controversy surrounding Hunter Biden, as a 2018 text message came to light where he confessed to covering his father’s bills for more than 11 years. House Republicans are now expressing their outrage and suggesting that this evidence contributes to the growing suspicions of corruption within the Biden family.
In the text exchange between Hunter Biden and his assistant Katie Dodge, he made a shocking admission about his financial involvement. Hunter mentioned facing issues with his Wells Fargo account and blamed it on “too many cooks in the kitchen.” To resolve the problem, he instructed Dodge to make payments using both his debit card and his “Wells Fargo credit line.”
However, it was his subsequent statement that raised eyebrows: “My dad has been using most lines on this account which I’ve through the gracious offerings of Eric [Schwerin] have paid for past 11 years.” This strongly implies that Hunter Biden had been financially supporting his father, Joe Biden, by covering his expenses for a significant period of time.
While the details of their financial arrangements remain unclear, questions about the Biden family’s finances have been a recurring topic. Emails from Hunter’s business partner, Eric Schwerin, dating back to 2010 have raised concerns about financial transfers and their implications for the family’s dynamics.
