The Trump campaign has unveiled a scathing advertisement that seeks to criticize the prosecutors involved in legal actions against former President Donald Trump. In the ad, these prosecutors are referred to as “the corruption squad,” with the campaign accusing them of carrying out President Joe Biden’s political agenda.

The advertisement begins by questioning the extent to which the “most corrupt president in history” would go in order to prevent Republicans from regaining control of the White House. It then introduces the key figures involved in legal actions against Trump, including Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, Special Counsel Jack Smith, New York Attorney General Letitia James, and Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.

Alvin Bragg is characterized in the ad as a “radical liberal New York prosecutor,” who allegedly refuses to prosecute violent criminals. Bragg’s office is currently pursuing 34 counts of falsifying business records against Trump, although legal experts and critics of the former president have raised concerns about the foundation of the case.

Jack Smith is portrayed as someone who has made a career out of persecuting innocent Republican officials. He led investigations into Trump, including one involving classified documents allegedly taken to Mar-a-Lago after Trump’s presidency, as well as another related to the January 6, 2021, Capitol riot, which resulted in indictments.

The advertisement also mentions New York Attorney General Letitia James, who is pursuing a $250 million lawsuit against Trump and his two eldest sons. It highlights the fact that James campaigned on promises to sue Trump.

Lastly, the ad focuses on Fani Willis, who is expected to bring charges against Trump, accusing him of interfering in the 2020 election. It refers to her as “Biden’s latest supporter.”

The campaign plans to air this advertisement in television markets in Washington, DC, New York, and Atlanta, Georgia, where the majority of the legal action against Trump is taking place. The goal of the ad is to criticize and discredit the prosecutors involved, painting them as part of a political agenda driven by President Biden.
